Are schools in the US educating or indoctrinating our children? The video that is linked title of this post shows and interview on Fox and Friends where students are made to perform a song that calls for boycott of big business. Are 6 year old first graders capable of knowing about free market enterprise, boycotts, Earth Day and the green movement? This politically inspired rap song was performed in a school in the US to celebrate Earth Day.
It is certainly my contention that the schools should be teaching reading, writing and math in the first grade not complicated business, marketing and political concepts.
North Dakota Tea Party Caucus is an ill conceived idea that does not represent the Grass Roots Tea Party Movement. Whether by intent or by thoughtlessness on the part of the organizers of this caucus, the tea party is now linked with the Republican Party and the grass roots have been removed.
The true tea party groups takes in all concerned citizens regard to political affiliation and protect that vehemently. Republicans, Democrats, Libertarians, Constitution Party members,etc. are all welcome and bring unique interests to the movement to be discussed without party platforms to muddy the waters.
Tea Party groups do not raise money for candidates, and they do not run candidates for public office. They vet, endorse, and campaign for their endorsed candidates, as well as inform and educate the general population on matters of government affecting the citizenry. The only reason to register the North Dakota Tea Party Caucus with the State of North Dakota is to do those things that the Tea Party Movement does not do.
The motivation of the organizers of this Caucus is unclear at this time, but they have certainly tainted the grass roots tea party movement in North Dakota with their interference. The recent Fargo Forum article released on Thursday April 14 and published Friday April 15. has the words Republican and GOP in almost every paragraph. It indicates that it will not hurt the GOP, yes their right it hurts the Tea Party movement. The GOP is supposed to emulate the most conservative principals that our nation was founded upon. The tea party can only stand to bring them back into their original focus. This Forum article obviously slanted to the left wastes no time in linking this Caucus with the Republican Party knowing the negative effect it will have on the Tea Parties throughout the nation not just the state. The April 15th post could not even get the initial motivation for the Tea Party Movement correct. It was taxes, national debt, and other fiscal irresponsibility not Health Care Reform that motivated the grass roots movement in a national basis.
Grass Roots Movements by nature have no professed leadership. Someone always steps up to the plate to keep things energized and efficient. Rep.Michele Bachmann(R) is touted to be the unofficial leader of the Tea Party Movement. Rep Bachmann is a true Conservative that exemplifies the ideals of the Tea Party Movement, but she is an elected Republican to the national house and is not involved in Tea Party activism except as a rally speaker.
The author distances himself from the North Dakota Tea Party Caucus and urges all Conservatives to do the same. Do they not realize that the very heart and soul of our country is under attack and this thoughtless arrogant behavior does nothing to stop that attack. It just neuters the effectiveness of an already effective grass roots movement.
The third party movement may destroy the Conservative candidates chances to overtake the Progressives in Congress in the November 2010 election.

It is my contention the a 3rd party candidate will insure the election of the Liberal and Progressive candidates in this election cycle. The split of the conservative vote will have disastrous results on an anticipated overwhelming defeat of the Democrats in November. Remember when Ross Perot as a third party candidate against George H.W. Bush gave us Bill Clinton as President for 8 years. There is an indisputable history of Conservative failure when confronted with a third party candidate.
Conservative voters have had a recent history of punishing the Republican Party for falling away from their conservative values. It is imparitive that all Conservatives unite under one candidate and not split the vote.You can be assured that the Democrats will not make this mistake.
I have fallen into the trap of punishing the Republican Party myself. I was a faithful contributor to the party for several years and recently disassociated myself from Republicans. It has always been my practice to vote my ideology or as close to it as possible and thus have held my nose and voted Republican in recent elections.
My main point is this. We have to much as stake in this election to take a chance on allowing any liberal or progressive democrats to win or maintain seats in the US Congress. They must all go in November 2010.
Let's punish the Democrats this year not ourselves. They have got it coming, we do not. Our liberties and our very way of life is at stake.

I know that I will never walk into another Best Buy story and I call on all Conservative Christians to consider Best Buys actions and decide for themselves if Best Buy is the appropriate venue for their retail needs. A strong message needs to be sent to these liberal corporate types that we will not tolerate the War on Christmas.
I seldom break out my grateful list, because I get it mixed up with my gratitude list. For me Thanksgiving is about being grateful for the blessings and opportunities that come my way. Living in the land of the free and the home of the brave were life is what you make it and the harder you work the more you achieve. I'm grateful for family and friends, health and fitness for all my loved ones. I'm grateful that it is still legal to oppose the intrusive oppressive liberal government. I'm grateful for many years of freedom from king alcohol. I'm grateful for the freedoms that we still have in this great nation and I'm grateful that life has prepared me for the battles ahead in 2010 and 2012.
Because of my gratefulness I must also express my gratitude. Gratitude has always been a verb in my world. Talk is cheap. Gratitude must be shown. Gratefulness is the clarion call for action. Sharing experience, knowledge and opportunity with others. Caucus with Republicans, go to tea parties, town halls, and other conservative gatherings. Write letters to editor, blog posts, tweet, get a message out and stay consistent.
Volunteer for election drives, finding needs and filling them.
The attack on Christianity is now experienced in the heart land of the United States. The Bible Belt of the United States also called the Corn Belt by the agricultural industry in under attack for supporting a Christian Youth camp project exploring Creation Science.
Lutheran Island Camp is fund raising and garnering support the it's dream of a Creation Science Environmental Learning Center they will call the Christ Serve Ranch. An article in the Fargo Forum and picked up by press and web sites in Minnesota and around the country has generated applause and ridicule in comments. The Youth Camp that is located on East Battle Lake between between Battle Lake and Henning Minnesota has been challenged by these events and needs our support.

Christians have been called "child abusers", "kooks" and "cultists" to name a few. My last post described my idea of why the left wing of our society hates Christians and this is a good example of how they do it. Take the soul away from the masses, or shame them into silence and they win. "You have to stand for something or you'll for for anything".
One loud and consistent voice of support for this project had been @ScottHennen owner and general manager of "AM1100, the Flag" Christian and Conservative talk radio station based in Fargo, ND. Two local meetings have been set up to garner further support at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Moorhead MN today, Monday November 23 at 6pm, and at Our Saviors Luthern Church in Crookston, MN at 2pm on Tuesday December 1.
If you cannot make either of these meetings due to distance you can lend your support in your comments to this blog post. Please pass on this information to other Christians to hold up this worthy project in the service to Christ and Christian service. Your prayers and comments are encouraged.
